Fiorentina offering new deal to Toni?

Fiorentina will consider offering Luca Toni a new contract following his revival in Tuscany, reports the Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 35-year-old returned to the Viola in the summer after he was netted on transfer deadline day following the club’s failure to sign Dmitar Berbatov from Manchester United.
Toni has struggled for form in recent years following spells at Roma, Genoa and Juventus, but he’s struck six goals in 14 League games this term.
The 2006 World Cup winner could be rewarded for his efforts with a 12-month extension to his present deal which runs out in June 2013.
